C- Series Centrifugal Pumps

Seals - All the pumps have one-piece impeller/shaft sleeve design that not only extends the life of seals but also reduces the number of shaft seal sizes to one, resulting in minimum spare parts inventory requirements.

Exclusive Impeller Design - the impeller/shaft sleeve is a single piece mounted rigidly on the motor shaft. It stays aligned and performs with less vibration under the most rigorous operating conditions and maximizes seal life.

For more han half a century Waukesha Cheny-Burrell has been a leader in the design,manufacturing and application of external circumferenlist piston (ECP) style, rotary positive displacement pumps. Waukesba Cherry-Bunell PD pumps are in service around the world in food, dairy,canning, bakery, beverage and pharmaceutical processing, as well as difficult chemical and industrial applications.

Universal II Rotary Positive Displacement Pumps(CIP able Pumps)

Suitable for low and high viscosity fluids as well as non lubricating and abrasive fluids, our universal series II range of rotatory positive displacement pumps combine 3-way mounting versatility. Known for high efficiency, good priming ability, metering capability and perfect flow control, these displacement pumps have optimum service life even under sever operating conditions.

  • CIP capability available. Pump body has optional internal flat body profile and will free drain with vertical ports. Optional rotor and body hub drilling provided for difficult CIP cleaning applications.
  • Cover is tree draining in horizontal or vertical port positions.
  • Rotor/shaft connection sealed from product zone.
  • Single mechanical seals standard. Optional double mechanical seals also available.

Shear pumps

The Waukesha Shear Pump's wide choice of modularly interchangeable stators and rotors makes It a most versatile and compact processing system component for binding, mixing, emulsifying, texturizing and smoothing... with no aeration. Its operation involves mechanical, ultrasonic,hydraulic and controlled cavitation , phenomena, The product's rate of flow through a controllable stator-rotor arrangement, plus the variable RPM of the Shear Pump, determines the ulti- mate effect of the Shear Pump on the product. For processing high viscosity material, the Shear Pump is fed with positive pressure using a Waukesha positive displacement pump.

Homogenizers / High Pressure Plunger Pumps

Among the most efficient, with the smallest footprint in the industry, the Waukesha Cherry-Burrell Homogenizer delivers more output for its plant space than any other. Advanced, fluid-dynamically engineered homogenizing valves achieve the desired degree of dispersion/emulsion with lower pressures, requiring less energy and extending the life of moving parts.

Colloid Mill

Shearing/mixing forces produce controlled, highly sheared, uniform dispersions and stable emulsions. A wide range of product viscosity may be processed, limited only by the maximum 150 psig (10 bar) inlet pressure. Higher viscosity products are processed at lower flow rates to stay within the pressure limit. Typical applications include salad dressing, mayonnaise, liquid egg homogenization, tomato based sauces and various personal care products such as lotions and creams.

Votator

After any servicing or inspection , the Votator II reassembles quickly and easily: simply insert the self- aligning spline end of the mutator shaft into the hollow shaft in the gear motor drive. There is no complex shaft coupling , no sensitive stub shaft alignment, or vulnerable drive belts to service.

Boltless V-Lock heads let you remove the shaft for inspection or routine maintenance in minutes.
